About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our Accounts Payable team who provide an essential service within Shared Services to a wide range of internal customers and external stakeholders. The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Process invoices accurately and ensure adherence to deadlines and agreed SLAs
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up appropriately
- Handle AP queries, processing and issues as required and directed
- Actively contribute and assist Team Leader in continuous improvement projects
- Build strong relationships with trade creditors and internal stakeholders.
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has experience gained in an AP processing role within a complex organisation dealing with high volumes, ideally in a shared services environment (not essential). Exceptional data entry skills including accuracy and attention to detail are required.
You should be comfortable to work autonomously and be able to prioritise and work efficiently. You will also have strong communication skills and the ability to work with and embrace technology. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel are also needed with experience using SAP-based programs would be advantageous. Leadership skills will also be advantageous.
