The Role
Our finance team is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officerto assist with day-to-day Accounts Receivable functions in a timely and accurate manner. This will be a shared service role and will manage the majority of customer transactions for the entire GenusPlus Group and its associated entities.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- High volume daily invoicing, including service contracts and progress claims
- Liaising with Project Managers and Operations for invoicing
- Payment receipting, allocation and monthly statements
- Maintaining Aged Receivables ledger and following up on outstanding invoices with external customers
- Preparing various sales and job reports
- Following up with debtors, as per Company standards, and consult with the Finance Manager to negotiate payment arrangements.
- Allocating and opening new Job Numbers and other adhoc tasks
- 2+ years’ experience working within a similar accounts/finance function
- High level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of invoices
- Intermediate level Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Experience in utilities, construction or resources industry;
- Previous exposure to Microsoft Navision or Business Central is highly regarded but not essential.
