About You 

You are an experienced senior project manager with proven expertise in leading projects within the community mental health and wellbeing sector. You have highly developed project management skills, research abilities, and experience managing project teams. You excel at stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and consultation strategies. With your leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of sector-specific workforce challenges, you are the ideal candidate to drive QAMH's Workforce Projects.

About Us
The Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH) is the peak body for the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Sector in Queensland. We represent over 100 organisations involved in delivering community mental health and wellbeing services across the state. QAMH works to reform, promote, and drive community mental health and wellbeing service delivery for all Queenslanders.

About the Role 

As the Senior Advisor - Workforce Projects, you will lead the development and implementation of QAMH's Workforce Projects. You will manage a small team of project officers, providing guidance on project governance, methodology, consultation, communication, and evaluation. You will lead consultation strategies, stakeholder engagement, project milestones, and ensure reporting requirements to funding bodies are met on time and within budget.

Critical Experience

  • Highly developed project management skills and experience managing projects end-to-end
  • Proven leadership experience including team management
  • Well-developed, high-level research skills
  • Experience in the community mental health and wellbeing sector in Queensland
  • Expertise in designing and implementing consultation strategies with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for high-level reporting
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience
  • Ability to work in a team while self-managing projects to deadlines

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with a membership-based organisation
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Project management qualifications
