This state government organisation operates as a commercial business within the department. They provide solutions for projects across Queensland and are focused on building a safer and more sustainable state. They have a workforce of around 1300 with a large proportion of employees being blue-collar or technical workers.
Your new role
In this role you will provide specialist IR/HR advice to senior managers and local leaders on complex case management matters - particularly discipline processes, employee grievances, medical management and performance management.
You will undertake investigations, prepare related documentation and develop appropriate solutions, ensuring your advice is in line with relevant legislation, awards and agreements.What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you will be able to hit the ground running in this role and so you will need to have strong prior experience in undertaking case management and investigations and be highly competent in this area. You will need prior experience working for state or local government and a strong understanding of the relevant awards and employment legislation.

This role offers an immediate start, it is based in Brisbane CBD with flexible hybrid working options once you have got settled in. It is for an initial 6-week assignment but is highly likely to be extended if you are meeting the goals and expectations of the role.
