Innovative Agronomy Services is a privately owned business with a newly established head office in Osborne, WA. The company now requires a full-time Senior Agronomist to head up its office. We are seeking an experienced consultant specialising in soil chemistry, plant physiology, and the innovative fertiliser application technologies to revolutionise outcomes for Australian farming enterprises and achieve superior results.
ABOUT THE ROLE This is a senior consultant position offering service solutions to growers and delivering cutting-edge technical expertise and product development advice to optimise their profits. Focussing on a range of broadacre cropping and pastures, the successful applicant will need to provide advice on weed, insect and disease management, plant nutrition, crop and soil management. The ability to manage and understand key account management strategies will also be a must.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Establishing relationships with clients, develop new business & product opportunities.
- Provide advanced agronomic advice and solutions to customers.
- Field collections of sap, tissue, and soil samples for analysis.
- Prepare data summaries, reports, analysis that include results, charts, and graphs to document findings and trend results.
- Participate in development and management of strategy to ensure environmental sustainability of the business.
- Assist in the supply of product to the customer.
- Working with suppliers assist with stock management through forward orders and forecasting. Development of business plans and trial sites with key suppliers.
- Key account management through establishing relationships with stakeholders while providing agronomic support developing business plans to a defined customer base.
- Keep up to date with industry and product developments through attending field days and training opportunities.
- Increase profile of Innovative Agronomy Services in regional agriculture.
THE APPLICANT We seek a proactive individual with exceptional communication abilities, driven by a genuine passion for aiding Australian farmers in maximising their productivity. To excel in this position, you should possess a degree qualification in Agricultural / Horticultural Science or a related field as well as business management experience.
Holding a current Driver’s License is essential, as is the capacity to work effectively independently and collaboratively. Your readiness to tackle challenges, coupled with a keen aptitude for problem-solving, will be paramount. Additionally, a strong eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills is highly valued.
REMUNERATION

An attractive remuneration package starting at $75,000 negotiable and depending on your experience and qualifications. The package will include a fully maintained company vehicle, phone and laptop.
