Reporting to our Vice President, Mine Finance and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting's, capital expenditure reporting, business performance reviews and assist in various ad hoc analyses as requested or required. Experience in SAP ECC, BCS, SAP Query Designer, Excel Analyzer / Analysis for Office, Business Explorer Web Analyzer is highly valuableOther responsibilities include:
- Prepare timely and accurate Australia Business Unit Monthly Financial Results and Monthly Performance Update presentation materials
- Co-ordinate and prepare timely, relevant and accurate quarterly SG&A, Exploration, and Studies forecasts and annual budget
- Prepare corporate entries for the quarterly forecast and annual budget, including management fees, corporate capital, and final submission process
- Provide support to site commercial teams for the budget and forecast process as required
- Conduct monthly expenditure review meetings with corporate departments as required
- Prepare appropriation requests for capital expenditure in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to capital policies
- Assist with maintaining the financial reports used for management reporting
- Assist with the review and distribution of CEA's for approval when required
- Assist with the preparation of the Business Performance Review materials when required
- Prepare and lodge ABS returns for Engineering and Construction, and New Capital Expenditure surveys
- Provide budget and forecast information to all departments as required
- Assist with the continuous improvement of Financial Planning processes and controls
- Provide information to auditors and other stakeholders as required
- Bachelor Degree in Business / Commerce / Accounting & Auditing/ Economics
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
- At least 5 years post CA/CPA qualification experience
- At least 3 years of resources industry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience in developing and presenting Budgets and Forecast
- Experience in implementing business processes and controls
