SalaryWe have an opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join the team at our Sydney office.
This is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Opportunity
In this role you will work with the LLC integration team to migrate data from current financial systems into SAP and to assist with a new system delivery. Establish best practice financial management and compliance along with a strong customer centric focus and service environment.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Review and cleanse data from current systems to ensure active transactions are converted
- Mapping of data fields to ensure correct and compliant reporting
- Assist with the AnaPlan development feasibility, transforming and validating data from multiple sources
- Work with IT to automate AnaPlan and SAP linkages and updates
- Extract Data from SAP for validation and reconciliation
- Calculate and upload journals in line with current accounting policies into SAP
- Support the preparation of ad-hoc management reports and analysis, as part of the reporting process
- Provide inputs for and review monthly reporting, financial reporting, forecasts, budgets or similar tasks
- Review key account reconciliations to ensure relevant accounting standards are being followed
- Develop effective working relationships with other team members and stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
- Ensure compliance with audit, tax and other regulations including HS&E.
- Appropriate tertiary qualification/s
- CA / CPA accreditation (beneficial)
- Experience in financial management in a similar role
- Strong IT skills including SAP, Excel and data mapping
- Strong systems and analytical skills
- Experience in statutory accounting or joint venture accounting is beneficial
