It’s a good time to see what more you can find at NAB as a Senior Analyst within Internal Audit.
As the Senior Analyst you will undertake the planning, execution and reporting of Audit activity as set out in the Audit Charter and the annual Audit Plan. The role focusses on testing IT enabled application controls and related IT General Controls.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Behave in line with NAB’s values.
- In conjunction with the Application Controls Audit Manager, provide advice into Internal Audit portfolio’s annual plan on potential IT risk procedures.
- Plan and project manage delivery of audits within agreed resource and time budgets.
- Efficient delivery of quality audit workpapers relating to IT risks, including walkthroughs, control identification, control design assessments and control operating effectiveness testing as well as efficient verification of audit raised issues within internal SLA targets.
- Provide feedback and coaching to colleagues to promote a performance and development culture.
- Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar Audit/Risk role with strong understanding of IT risks and controls supporting business processes and IT General Controls including testing Cloud, DevOps and Cyber controls.
- Prior experience using Data Analytics within execution of audit delivery would be highly advantageous.
- Prior experience in performing audits within Financial Services sector would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to engage and communicate with influence across a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external.
- Ability to work independently in performing walkthroughs and documenting testing workpapers to a high standard.
- Preferred candidate will hold a current CISA/CISM/CISSP certification
- A growth mindset, a strong track record in assurance/risk/controls and a solid set of core skills and competencies around stakeholder management, communication, and time management.
