Senior Analyst, Investment Stewardship

TCorp’s Investment Management division constructs and manages client-centric investment portfolios for the NSW Government family. TCorp believes understanding and managing material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities, including climate change, will result in more resilient long term investment outcomes. The Investment Stewardship team ensures stewardship principles are embedded in our investment model to deliver better investment outcomes for our clients.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Stewardship the Senior Analyst will contribute to the development and implementation of TCorp’s climate change and Investment Stewardship strategy, with a focus on integrating climate risk, carbon emissions and other ESG risk signals into TCorp’s portfolio construction, risk management and reporting processes.
This opportunity will suit a collaborative team player with knowledge (and experience) of investment processes for institutional investors and/or multi-manager funds in complex stakeholder environments. You skills will include climate and ESG data analysis, data visualisation, and integration into investment modelling. You will be comfortable working in an innovative entrepreneurial role in a sector undergoing substantial change and you will have a genuine passion for the integration of ESG into investment decision making.
TCorp would like to hear from candidates with relevant tertiary qualifications and a minimum of three years' experience in climate science, data analysis with a focus on ESG data, investment risk or environmental or social risk management (experience from superannuation, insurance or institutional investment is preferred). Familiarity with current and emerging carbon-related financial accounting and climate risk measurement models and methodologies would be desirable. Expertise in building ESG data focused reporting packs and dashboards and the ability to communicate effectively with the key stakeholders on climate change and other stewardship matters is essential.
