Our Market Data & Customer Analytics (MDCA) team stands at the forefront of data-driven insights, recognized as a semi-finalist in the prestigious Centre of Business Analytics 2023 Practice Prize at Melbourne Business School. We're on a mission to redefine Customer Analytics for Marketing, crafting key strategic initiatives across our organization. While nestled within Marketing, our influence extends across various SEEK departments, including Sales, Product, Strategy, and more. Together, we craft high-impact insights to drive business outcomes.

The Role:

As a Senior Analyst in our MDCA team, you'll be instrumental in delivering targeted solutions to improve return on investment. From customer behaviour analysis to campaign experimentation, you'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders to shape SEEK's marketing strategies. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, data management, continuous improvement, and external market monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis and interpretation to drive targeted solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver analytical outcomes supporting broader initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for analysis.
• Stay updated with industry trends and find opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor employment market trends and competitor behaviour.

• Substantial experience in senior data analytics roles, preferably in Marketing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms and visualization tools.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Tertiary qualification in relevant disciplines (commerce, marketing, economics, etc.).
