The Role
- Senior Analyst Engineer will be responsible for:
- Design, build and support core in-house XVA system
- Develop and support internal interfaces (Murex, Calypso, etc)
- Ensure integrity and stability of XVA services
Key Accountabilities:
- Design, build and support core in-house XVA system.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and other internal business partners.
What you will bring:
- Solid understanding of software development principles and concepts
- 5+ years in a technical or similar role with previous Markets experience highly regarded
- 2+ years commercial development experience in Java
- Knowledge of building distributed systems, for example by using technologies such as REST, JSON, cloud-based development/principles
- Experience with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and writing SQL queries.
- Exposure to Git and Github, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Experience with multithreading and asynchronous processing
- Experience in building cloud technology highly regarded (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud etc)
- Experience with Financial Markets products
- Experience with C# and XVA
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to evolving technologies, varying environments and shifting project requirements.
- Pro-active, self-motivated and eager to accept new challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on rigorous testing and debugging to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with team members to define and achieve project goals.
- Sense of pride in one's work, commitment and personal accountability
