About the engagement:
Green Light are delivering a project for an industry leading organisation and have a requirement for a talented System Engineer to join our project delivery team.
The system engineer is mainly in charge of managing backup and recovery, applying operational and technical security controls, and patching both physical and virtual infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Assess vulnerability & patch information from compliance scans for networking devices, Servers, and Windows/Linux OS.
- Implement remediation activities based on vulnerability & policy compliance scans.
- Support & implement endpoint device management, software deployments, patch management, and OS deployment.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with privacy, security & compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain software applications, scripts, and interfaces for integrating OT devices, sensors, and control systems with IT platforms.
- Configure and deploy network infrastructure, protocols, and security mechanisms to support IT-OT integration initiatives.
- Proven System Admin experience with patch management & vulnerability assessment inside mid-large enterprise environments.
- Strong technical understanding of IT and OT systems including infrastructure and applications.
- Experience with integrating IT and OT systems.
- Experience with tools such as SCCM, Intune, Nozomi
- Experience managing Azure AD, Office 365, SSO, SSL
- Competent PowerShell scripting skills.
- Experience in Client Security Stack (Defender/Sentinel)
- Good exp with AD, Security Groups, DFS, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, ACL, PXE.
