A team who values real diversity and inclusion, in a big brand with big ambitions.The role:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workforce Planning Strategy & Transformation, the Senior Analyst, Workforce Planning Strategy & Transformation position is to provide guidance and analysis on maintaining the ideal balance of operational resources necessary for efficiently managing the flight schedule, all while meeting various safety, financial, and operational targets.In this position, you'll need to simulate various scenarios regarding staffing needs and changes in work rules, craft coherent presentations that contextualize numerical data, and offer analysis and recommendations concerning a range of transformation projects.Furthermore, you'll collaborate closely with various stakeholders across operational departments, including Flight Operations, Inflight Experience, Airport Experience, Finance, and Transformation.In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Develop, maintain, and automate reporting focussed on costs, productivity, and capacity including transformation opportunities using tools such as Excel, Power BI or R.
- Provide cohesive executive-level reports and presentations for senior-level management within short time frame.
- Prepare detailed analysis and resource plans to support annual and quarterly forecast budget cycle.
- Develop and continually maintain training plans that consider business requirements and capabilities including recruitment timelines, training resources, and equipment.
- Identify potential process improvements and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Research and evaluate industry trends, practices, and operational methodologies to continually improve operational performance.
- Utilise Crew Management Systems including optimisers for analysis of pairing and rostering solutions to assess costs, productivity, lifestyle factors and fatigue management.
- Demonstrated experience with data analytics approaches to support strategic decision making and transformation initiatives
- Cost Impact Analysis and/or preparation of budgets in operational settings.
- Experience using a Workforce Planning (rostering) application in an airline environment (Desirable).
- Experience in understanding of resource planning processes, theories and methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders internal and external to Workforce Planning.
