About the role:
Classic Tree Services are looking for suitable candidates to fill vacancies within our Perth metro based company. We hold a unique position in the industry providing both physical pruning and consultancy services, giving a rare opportunity for staff to bridge skill sets from the practical to the analytical.
Current vacancies would be perfect for qualified consultants/ arb diploma graduates wanting opportunities for hands on work, or experienced arborists looking to further their career.
Job roles are often varied and can be tailored for the right candidate but are likely to include:
Supervisory roles within work crews undertaking tree pruning, removals and vegetation management.
Job planning and auditing
Specialist and technical services – stability monitoring, soil decompaction, chemical treatments
Tree inspections and assessments (including risk assessments)
Drafting of individual and group tree reports
Tree surveying
Exploratory investigations, trials and research
On site client supervision and advice
Full time position, Monday-Friday, 40 hrs week - overtime commonly available
Rate of pay between $35-$40 depending on experience and qualifications. Additional allowances and company vehicle may also be available to the right candidate.
As part of client requirements and to ensure the safety of all workers CTS undertake regular drug and alcohol screening of staff. All applicants must be willing to undertake testing if required
Minimum requirements:
Cert III in Arboriculture (AQF3 or equivalent)
Level 1 Chainsaw operation (AQF or equivalent)
White Card
Full unrestricted ‘Class C’ driving license
At least two years direct industry experience
Desirable:
Diploma in Arboriculture (AQF5 or equivalent)
Cert II ESI Powerline Vegetation Control
MR or HR driving licence
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence
HIAB or Schaffer licence and experience
First Aid Certification
Traffic Management and Traffic Controller qualification
Advanced chainsaw qualifications or experience, rigging etc
Supervisory or team leader experience
