Senior Architect 

Seamus Ryan Architects are a Perth based studio focusing on contemporary residential design, interior design and sustainable design.  Our projects include 9.5-star homes, Passive House projects and high-end luxury homes up to $6 million. Our projects are mainly based in the western suburbs, near our Mosman Park office.

Each of our project are a custom-tailored design, unique in their own way. Our passion is blending sustainable design with contemporary architecture. 

We are seeking a like-minded person to join our small team: Seamus, Tom, Shavi and Debbie. 

As a  Mid-Senior Architect you are required to perform the following duties:

Project manage appointed projects from Sketch Design through to Onsite consultation. Including but not limited to: 

• Design development through Sketch Design, Materials + Mood presentation, Client/Local Council/ Consultants meetings. 
• Development Applications. Document and Submit to Local council and manage negotiations. 
• Document Construction, Building permit and Tender documentation.  
• Onsite consultation with Builder & Client, including Contract Administration. 
• Project Management: planning of stages and timeline / scheduling.
• Time keeping on project to ensure appointed projects run efficiently.. 
• Mentor Graduate Architect. 
• We may also assign other duties, where reasonable for your position, training, and experience.

The successful candite will meet or exceed the below requirements. 

• BSc in Architecture / Registered Architect preffered. 
• Proven design skills through sketches or “built works”. 
• 7-10 yrs Luxury Residential or Multi Residential experience.
• 7-10 yrs Revit experience with proven track record of detailed Revit drawings displayed in your portfolio.
• Experience in running projects. Site experience will be looked upon favorably. 
• Good personal skills; dependable, motivated with good problem-solving skills. 
• Good interpersonal skills as you will be required to work with clients and consultants; negotiate projects through council, work and problem solve with structural engineers, review projects with building certifiers and join client meetings (guided by director).
