Senior Asset Engineer - Brisbane Based (Mobile Plant)

AAMG has been engaged by our client partner to find them an experienced Senior Asset Engineer to join their team located in their Brisbane head office.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Manager and the Engineering department to execute various projects from end to end with a focus on Mobile Plant reliability and improvement. 

Within this role you will be responsible for: 

• Monitoring plant condition on the ageing assets across various sites
• Reliability, Condition Monitoring, Asset Technology and Project Work 
• Develop maintenance strategies for all HME 
• Identifying unreliable plant
• Providing reports and recommendations
• Photo Analysis of plant & equipment
• Provide technical advice to the projects 

Requirements:

• Tertiary Engineering qualification or relevant trade qualifications and experience
• 2 years post qualification experience working in a site based mechanical/Reliability role focused on mobile equipment 
• Demonstrated experience with Heavy Mining Equipment
• Advanced Microsoft & Excel skills
• SAP experience would be highly desirable
• Ability to multitask and work on various projects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Occasional travel to site will be required
