We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Commercial Insurance team in Sydney working with Belinda Michalk.
About the team and the work
- With a premier reputation in the legal industry for our insurance practice, Sparke Helmore has developed one of the country's best corporate insurance teams nationally. More than half the lawyers in our firm live and breathe insurance
- You will be working with national and international insurers, self-insured entities and government agencies in relation to liability claims relating to personal injury and property damage, along with insurance advice
- The practice has a strong blue-chip client base and you will have access to a range of challenging and more complex matters
- You will be supported by a strong team who mentor, have fun and have access to Partners who want you to grow and develop
- The team embraces working flexibly and therefore we welcome applications from candidates who are looking for flexibility in their next role, part time working arrangements will be considered

About you
- At least 6 years' experience gained in a well-regarded Insurance practice
- Well developed experience in liability and personal injury
- Exceptional analytical and drafting skills
- Plaintiff and in-house experience also considered
