- Oversee and conduct the day-to-day management of litigation cases in Queensland state Courts and Tribunals.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of junior solicitors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Partner to ensure strategic litigation planning and execution.
- Engage in active mentoring and development of junior team members, enhancing their professional growth and ensuring high-quality legal service.
- Lead trial preparations and represent clients effectively in court, ensuring the excellent presentation and argumentation of cases.
- Participate in business development activities, helping to expand the firm's client base and strengthen existing relationships.
- A qualified lawyer with at least five years of litigation experience, ideally within the construction sector.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and training junior legal staff.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with a talent for clear, persuasive arguments both in writing and verbally.
- Demonstrated ability to handle important and complex legal challenges with professionalism and composure.
