Location : Karratha, Western Australia
Responsibilities
Hardware Support:

• Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage devices, and other hardware components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with vendors for replacement parts and repairs.

Data Center Management:

• Monitor and manage data center facilities, including power and cooling systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and implement preventive maintenance procedures.

Networking Support:

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of networking equipment, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Collaborate with network administrators to resolve connectivity issues.

Cable Management:

• Ensure proper cable management within data centers and network infrastructure.
• Assist in the installation and organization of cabling for servers and networking equipment.

Collaboration with IT Teams:

• Work closely with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT professionals to support overall infrastructure needs.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to implement IT projects.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all hardware installations, configurations, and changes.
• Create and update standard operating procedures for hands and feet support tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hands-on infrastructure support.
• Proven experience in installing and maintaining servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Knowledge of data center operations and best practices.
• Familiarity with cable management and structured cabling standards.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
