Opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to work on Australia's biggest infrastructure projects. Join a dynamic business with decades of experience.The role
- Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity
- Liaise with less senior engineers and drafters to enable preparation of structural documentation
- Develop and maintain relationships with builders and clients
- Contribute to the overall management and profitability of projects
- Ability to interpret and communicate information of a more complex nature
- Assume responsibility for the management of medium to large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets
- Management of staff including recruitment, selection and remuneration
- Assist in the establishment of discipline-related policies and procedures as directed by overall organisational controls
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
- At least 7 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer
- CPEng (or working towards) and membership with Engineers Australia
- Understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
- Excellent attention to detail, proactive attitude, and problem-solving/analytical skills
