The Firm & The Role
Our client is a well established and successful national law firm with a well-known family law team. The family law team is busy and they are looking to recruit an experienced Family Lawyer with at least 4 years post admission experience.
This family law team focuses on mediating and settling matters rather than aggressively litigating them. The lawyers are guided by empathy and want the best possible outcomes for their clients but also for all parties, especially where children are involved.
This role will see you having high levels of autonomy and freedom, having carriage of your own files from start to finish but also working collaboratively with the other lawyers and leveraging off of their expertise and experience.
You will be able to successfully represent clients in all areas of family law including parenting, property, de facto and same sex relationships, spouse maintenance and child support applications.
This team has expertise in complex property cases, international family law matters as well as applications for enforcement of orders.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a experienced Family Lawyer with at least 4 years pae
- Be able to develop and foster strong client relationships
- Have strong technical, negotiating and counselling skills
- Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment but also autonomously
- Have energy, drive, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for family law
