About your team
Brokerage Operations, as part of the Brokerage Hub, is responsible for asset servicing and administration of Brokerage holdings on Fidelity’s Retail Investment Platform. Functional responsibilities are split into five areas: 1) Trade Operations for trade & settlement; 2) Corporate Actions for corporate events and dividends; 3) Stock Deposits for the transfer of certificated holdings, 4) Stock Plan Services (SPS) for related activities and processing; and 5) Controls for oversight of regulatory reporting and other controls across the team.
About your role
This Senior Associate/Process Specialist role will focus on the support of Stock Plan Services and requires the role holder to become a Subject Matter Expert and key contact across Operations. This will be achieved by gaining a detailed knowledge of Fidelity’s offering and its impact on the Brokerage team and other Operational areas, as well as assuming responsibility for daily BAU activities such as:
- Completing daily controls via reports and other checks in accordance with procedures
- Assisting SMEs across operations with SPS queries and actively raising awareness through training and informational sessions
- Managing and supporting operational readiness tasks ahead of the onboarding of Sponsors and disseminating relevant information to impacted operational areas
- Working closely with all SPS Product owner, supporting award distributions and settlement processes
- Working with customer support teams at Fidelity Investments to provide a seamless customer experience across companies
About you
You will :
- have experience working in an operational or client servicing team ideally within a brokerage environment
- Can demonstrate a strong sense of ownership in your day to day tasks, seeing things through to completion and delivering the best outcome for your clients
- are a strong and effective communicator including stakeholder and customer management
- are a Self-starter with a dynamic “can do” attitude with a strong desire to make things happen
- can be flexible, adaptable, and able to re-prioritise and organise effectively
- have the ability to “think on your feet” and develop innovative and effective solutions
