Lawson Elliott Recruitment are supporting a growing mid-tier accounting firm by helping them with finding a Senior Auditor to join their team. My client provides a nurturing and professional workplace atmosphere.
As a Senior Auditor you will:
- Coordinate group audits and document control environments
- Evaluate files concerning technical accounting and audit criteria
- Create management letters and audit completion reports
- Prepare and review statutory financial reports
- Provide top-tier client service through on-site visits
- Mentor junior staff and foster strong internal relationships
- Perform audits for prominent proprietary organizations
- Identify and convey risk areas to clients
- Formulate audit strategies and draft audit plans
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4 years of practical experience in Audit or Assurance within an Australian accounting firm.
- Working towards or having completed CPA/CA studies.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Skilled in contributing to audit teams of various sizes, showcasing adaptability and flexibility.
- Previous involvement as a lead auditor on specific projects, indicating leadership skills and proficiency.
- Demonstrated capability to engage and communicate adeptly with stakeholders and clients, nurturing collaborative partnerships
