Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Active participation in all phases of the Project Life Cycle, from initial scoping and detailed design to testing and commissioning.
• Hands-on problem-solving throughout the project's duration, adopting a timely and systematic approach to resolving issues.
• Utilizing your extensive technical expertise within the Control System and telemetry field (RF 4G), you will mentor and share knowledge with team members involved in various projects.
• Collaboratively working with clients to ensure project goals and timelines align with their expectations.
• Contributing to business development efforts, including crafting proposals and participating in client meetings.
• A readiness to travel is an integral part of the role, ensuring direct and effective project engagement and client relations.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• A tertiary degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in an Automation Engineering role for 6+ years, water sector experience would be an advantage.
• Expertise in programming a diverse range of PLC, SCADA and telemetry systems.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or significantly contributing to design of upgrade projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a history of effectively engaging with clients to understand and meet project requirements and specifications.
• A commitment to professional growth, both for themselves and the team. Experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers will be highly regarded.
