The Baxter Inn is a Sydney institution and after 12 years remains one of the city's busiest and most loved bars, featuring blues, whisky and good times. We are looking for a Senior Bartender with enthusiasm, a positive attitude and devotion to their craft, to join our talented team.
Having won many accolades over the years (Top 50 Bars, Bar of the Year, Whisky Bar of the Year, to name a few) The Baxter Inn remains at the pinnacle of the hospitality industry and this opening presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious bartender looking to grow their skills and experience with the assistance of a celebrated management team.
The Baxter Inn has one of Australia’s largest rare whisky selections. Our goal is to share this with as many of our guests as possible. We try our best to be approachable, never arrogant or condescending. The customer always comes first. Whisky is our focus, yet our drinks selection is broad. We focus on classic cocktails using modern techniques and methodology. Our beer list is wide-ranging and our wine list is boutique in nature with attention paid to small producers with low intervention winemaking practices.

An encyclopaedic knowledge of whisky isn't a prerequisite, but a solid grounding on the subject certainly helps - The Baxter Inn hosts weekly whisky training as part of its development program.
