About the role
Key responsibilities include:
- Working within the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission requirements including reporting to the NDIS Commission as required.
- Collaborating with leadership and management to maintain compliance and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of the participant where appropriate, promoting inclusion and access to community.
- Remaining informed on contemporary best practice approaches and latest developments in the field through continuous professional development and supervision.
- Working within a budget and meeting billable hours to ensure sustainability of the service.
About you
We are seeking highly motivated people who are:
- Excellent verbal and written communicators with the ability to listen effectively, demonstrating clarity and conciseness in a confident manner.
- Able to consider, adapt and appropriately respond to the needs of different people in different situations.
- Exceptional in terms of interpersonal skills, particularly as it relates to participants, carers, external and internal stakeholders.
- Eager to develop and grow clinical skills in a supportive and L&D focused organisation.
- Autonomous, driven, and able to set clear expectations within service delivery.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or commensurate (i.e. 3 years+) experience and relevant professional development.
- Considered a suitable NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Advanced and Specialist Practitioners are preferable)
- Knowledge of NDIS (Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support) Rules 2018
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current Western Australian Driver’s Licence.
