Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner - Clinical Supervisor

This position is best suited for someone living in Melbourne's Western suburbs including Werribee, Melton, Tarneit, Hoopers Crossing, Geelong and/or surrounding regions.

As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner - REGISTERED Proficient, Advanced or Specialist you will support vulnerable members of the community by acting as an advocate and role model. On a daily basis, you will be...

• Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans 
• Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive Behaviour Support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices
• Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Supervise and shadow Suitable and Core level Behaviour Support Practitioners 

About You

To be successful you will have:

• Completed a degree level qualification as an allied health professional
  (Eg OT/Speech/Social Work)
• Experience creating, implementing and reviewing Behaviour Support plans
• Registration as a Proficient, Advanced or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
• A genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
• Supervision experience *highly regarded
