**About the Role**
This opportunity is to fill a full time permanent role based in Perth, Western Australia. You will:
· Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Business Intelligence and Data Platform solutions.
• Address and rectify technological constraints in existing systems, enhancing associated processes and procedures for optimized BI solutions.
• Perform testing and debugging to resolve errors in ETL jobs, reports, and dashboards.
• Ensure adherence to testing protocols and quality standards to validate program performance against specifications.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate functional needs and user stories into technical requirements.
• Develop comprehensive documentation including requirements, design specifications, user guides, and support instructions.
· Deliver projects using change, time and project management skill set including strong stakeholder engagement and management.
· Deliver training to end users.
**Skills and Experience**
• High level of demonstrable experience in solution development using data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP BuslnessObJects)
• Hands on experience with other Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Working knowledge of cloud computing solution architectures in Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP
• Experience with work management methodologies including Scrum and ITIL
• Excellent written and communication skills
**Qualification Requirements**
• Require Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, plus 2 years industry experience.
• Alternatively 12+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or similar role
**About You**
· Strong information systems background.
· Some skills in programming would be helpful, ideally in Python or R.
· Demonstrated success in utilising the Microsoft BI stack for retrieving data sets, analysing disparate data sets, building integration and transformation solutions, and report building.
· Ability to delivery meaningful reporting and visualisations in Power BI.
· Able to demonstrate success in partnering with a business or business unit, understanding its requirements, and then providing a systems and reporting solution that meets those requirements.
· Enjoy working in a broad role, with varying priorities and the opportunity to work across the strategic and technical at the same time.
