Our Bajool Operations in Central Queensland are currently seeking for a Senior Brine Operatorto join our team. Bajool and Port Alma are about 40km south of Rockhampton and 40km north of Gladstone.

The role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor your duties will include:
- Optimise Salt quality at site and contributing to the success of the salt harvest.
- Effective Management of the brine recycling system in compliance with Environmental Authority standards
- Develop SWM'S, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
- Assist in management, control and mentoring of other Brine Operators.
- Maintain production records and documentation as required.
- Meet targets and objectives as set with the Production Supervisor.
- Maintain safe work practices in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety & Environmental Standards
- Assist in Harvesting or other Process related activities as required.
About you
You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role!
- Experience in pumping, irrigation or water movement control.
- TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Year 12 Science /Biology or equivalent - advantageous
- Possess and demonstrate good decision-making abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- PC Based computer skills required - MS Word, Outlook, Excel.
- Possess and demonstrate good work ethic qualities.
- Ability to learn the skills necessary to fulfil requirements associated with Salt Production systems.
- Effective people management skills
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organisation to achieve desired outcomes.
