As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for getting the business ready for a successful project by conducting the process mapping, data mapping, data analysis, gathering business requirements and engaging with different stakeholders. You will be engaging with an impressive range of senior stakeholders in an agile delivery environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the collections space and knowledge around banking processes, excellent core business analysis skills, a minimum of 10 years of experience in large corporate environments, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. This SBA will be a business facing focused role.
An emphasis on knowing collections is of importance for this ideal candidate, as well as being business facing and comfortable with being in the Melbourne CBD office 3 out of 5 days.
What You Will Do
Act as the main bridge between IT and business stakeholders; collaborate with the business to evaluate business needs and create specifications for any modifications or additions to technology applications and/or business procedures
Drive technology uplift as the work will transition to business readiness and UAT preparation.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to streamline the team's backlog by prioritising, estimating, and making informed decisions
Develop process maps to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Engage with different stakeholders within the business.
What You Will Have Done
Experience in the big 4 banks is prioritised, with a particular focus on collections.
Experience across large transformations in the banking/finance space (min. 10+ years), ideally with exposure to large migrations/mergers/acquisitions
Had a long experience of Business Analyst Roles. What you would call a "career BA".
Strong data migration/analysis and data mapping skills around banking products
Excellent Business Analyst skill set including requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
This role provides excellent exposure to a high-visibility delivery on a massive transformation, with a min. 6mo runway, exposure to exciting stakeholders and the flexibility to work from home and on-site (3 days in office).
