About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Data and Insights team, who are tasked with providing key insights support to our supply chain and operations team. You will be responsible for and engaging key stakeholders to understand the business need and providing insight as necessary, you will also be responsible for;
- Facilitating cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimisation opportunities.
- Interpreting and communicating results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders
- Designing and developing meaningful reports and data visualisations that will enhance decision-making across the portfolios
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Optimise processes for data ingestion, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling, visualisation and communication deliverables
About You and Your Skills
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst is adept with Power BI or similar tools. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders in order to understand business needs and provide consultative insight. You'll also need:
- Proven experience deploying business analytics tools and visualisation solutions support business decision process
- Ability to develop business requirements into a business insights solution
- Working knowledge of ETL and data management tools (e.g., SQL Server, Python)
- Demonstrated working experience with undertaking advanced analytics, statistical analysis and data science projects
- Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills
- Previous experience in retail or supply chain would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience in working in an agile project environment would be advantageous
