The Business Analyst plays a key role in delivering complex projects across a large local council. The position will be responsible for identifying and documenting process maps and requirements that will deliver organisational benefits defined under the Transformation program.
Essential Critieria:
• Requirement elicitation and validation
• Business process improvement
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• User training
• Post implementation project reviews
• Estimation of Business Analyst effort and time for projects’ activities
• Review UAT Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Support users during UAT.
• Identify Training Requirements
• Manage the development of training collaterals
• Develop Training Plans and Manuals.
Desirable experience:
• Substantial experience documenting accurate requirements under Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Substantial experience producing clear and accurate process maps to visually capture business processes (e.g.: as-is and to-be).
• Substantial experience facilitating business decisions and arbitrate discussions relating to trade-offs between multiple viable solution options and approaches.
• Substantial experience of working in complex projects in large corporate environment as a Business Analyst.
• Previous experience in digital transformation projects in Local Government (highly regarded).
