Service Stream’s Corporate division is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our growing company. This position involves analysing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending IT solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and drive business success. The initial focus of the role will be to support the implementation of payroll and timesheeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Process Analysis: Lead the evaluation and analysis of current business processes and system requirements to identify areas for improvement or redesign. The focus of this role will be towards HR and payroll application development and implementation.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Develop detailed functional specifications for IT solutions, collaborate with the development and architecture team to ensure accurate implementation, and oversee the testing and deployment phases to guarantee quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and the IT department, facilitating effective communication and ensuring that project objectives meet business needs.
- Project Management: Support the project manager by informing project timelines, resources, and budgets, applying best practices in project management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the IT strategic planning process, identifying emerging technology trends that can provide competitive advantage and proposing new projects aligned with business goals
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in a Business Analyst role within an IT environment, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies, as well as business process mapping tools.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and technologies with an ability to apply them in a practical context.
