Senior Business Improvement Specialist

• Oversee the site Business Improvement program, developing and maintaining project tools.
• Provide on-the-job coaching for continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead site implementation activities for selected element groups, aiming for Maturity 3.
• Govern the site Business Improvement program, integrating it into the site leadership cadence.
• Assist process owners in assessing and improving process maturity.
• Provide coaching for system and process improvements.
• Facilitate risk and opportunity identification, develop controls, and realise benefits.
• Assist in developing and deploying the continuous improvement toolkit.
• Manage effective resource use, supporting site and group goals.
• Support General Managers in scheduling improvement activities and resource assignment.

Your Background and Experience:

• A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
• Lean Six Sigma (ideally Black Belt or higher) and/or similar Business Improvement certification.
• Experience leading Kaizen events would be highly beneficial.
• Advanced Microsoft office skills - ideally with producing Power BI reports.
• Extensive experience using Business Improvement processes within mining, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated workshop facilitation capability.
• Project team leadership experience.
