The successful candidate for this role must clearly demonstrate previous experience and knowledge in all areas of residential and commercial cabinet making and manufacture. The ideal candidate will take charge on site and be a motivated member of the team in the factory.
Required Skills:
At least 5 + years’ experience in Cabinet Making
Ability to read and understand CAD based drawings
Accuracy and high level of attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Excellent up front communication skills
Able to work in a team environment and also autonomously
Be punctual, hardworking and dedicated
Australian Driver’s License
White card
Own hand tools will be extremely desirable
Core Duties:
Manufacture high quality cabinetry in a timely manner
Perform on-site installation, working with efficiency whilst not compromising on quality.
Mentoring and supervision of apprentices.
Ensuring quality standards are met.
Keeping project schedules on time.
Factory based work (cutting, assembly & setting up of cabinets).
About you:
Must have relevant trade qualifications/certificates.
Experience operating machinery (CNC preferred).
Demonstrated hands-on experience in the construction and installation of kitchens/joinery, including industry related machinery and power/hand tools.
You'll be comfortable and productive working autonomously and unsupervised.
Have a driver’s license and white card.
Possess your own tools relevant to the role.
Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
Working hours are 7:30-4pm Monday–Friday with opportunities for overtime.
