Eligibility: Open to EveryoneFull-time vacancy up to 12 months.We have an exciting new Senior Career Support Case Manager role available in our HR Branch. The Career Support Case Manager roles are accountable to the Senior Sergeant, Employee Management Register (EMR) for the pivotal service of identifying and negotiating suitable alternative placements and redeployment for work injured police officers and police officer employees subject to redeployment.The Senior Career Support Case Manager provides comprehensive return-to-work services, placement services and applies early intervention methods. The role will also establish reporting requirements, analyse statistical data, preparing documentation, and managing HR special projects.In addition to being part of a high performing, supportive team within a values driven organisation, you will directly impact the delivery of significant operational outcomes in this rewarding role.Your new employer

- Demonstrates knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012; Return to Work Act 2014, standards, and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience with providing case management services to work injured and excess Police Officers that includes facilitating the job matching and transition process, providing career advice, and the identification and coordination of retraining opportunities.
- Experience with developing and maintaining productive working relationships with all levels of Government and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in recording, analysing, interpreting, and presenting data in a logical and meaningful manner.
- Ability to clarify situations, act impartially, and use influence, negotiation, and persuasion to effectively mediate the conflict and devise a workable solution.
- Ability to utilise case management principles and frameworks such as undertaking suitable assessments and interventions and recommending appropriate referrals.
- Proven experience in dealing with the legislation and industrial instruments that govern human resources and industrial relations within State Government agencies.

- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- A current South Australian driver licence.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
