The role:
We are looking for a qualified and driven individual who can fit into our closeknit crew with an immediate start. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be experienced enough to step into a senior role, working alongside other carpenters, trades and at times an apprentice.
Responsibilities:
- Running and working on residential and commercial projects, including but not limited to builds, renovations, maintenance, and shop fit-outs.
- General carpentry work or assistance.
- Overseeing or being involved in all aspects of general construction.
- Scheduling and planning, sizing/ordering materials if required.
- Overseeing other trades and apprentice on occasion.
- We are a fast paced crew with an abundance of work in front of us so being reliable and able to work at an efficient pace is essential.
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
- Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail on all jobs.
