Why become a Senior Case Manager with GB?

Our team is growing and we’re hiring multiple Senior Case Managers to join our Workers Compensation claims team.

This role may interest you if you are studying, working and/or qualified in Insurance, Allied Heath, Psychology, Law, Social Work (or similar disciplines). This may be what you are looking for to utilize your skills and qualifications in a new field.

You don’t have to have claims-based work experience to become a claims expert with GB, but a passion for learning, dedication to service, interest in building a personal injury career and a motivated disposition.

You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:

  • Ensuring all customers receive the support and guidance they require for injured workers to recover and make a safe and sustainable return to work through the effective support to the claims and premium operations
  • Delivering high quality customer service to all stakeholders and demonstrating a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for our customers
  • Applying a person-centered management approach focusing on injured workers’ needs, setting recovery goals and supporting them to achieve these
  • Reviewing requests and medical treatment - assessing its reasonableness to help aid injured workers recovery and return to work
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, medical professionals and Occupational Rehabilitation Providers throughout the injured workers recovery journey
  • Working collaboratively and proactively with all stakeholders, such as medical professionals to facilitate positive recovery, return to health and RTW outcomes
  • Review ongoing entitlements in line with the legislation

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess:

  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • An aptitude for working within a dynamic and fast paced role
  • Knowledge of Personal Injury Management concepts relating to Workers Compensation Scheme in Victoria and/or Claims Management/Workers Compensation experience (ideal)
  • Tertiary or industry specific qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or experience in a related position
