This is a permanent full-time role, with the office located in Upper Mt Gravatt, Queensland and enjoy flexible and hybrid working with 2 days working at home.
In this role, you will become a key team member supporting the self-insurance claims team with an emphasised focus on stakeholder management and building relationships within the business, and building strong structured relationships where you can see the impact you have on the business.
The Role:
- Managing an allocated claims portfolio within legislative, self-insurance, and business requirements to reduce outstanding liabilities and achieve cost-effective RTW (return to work) outcomes.
- Engaging with key stakeholders to bring about understanding, involvement, and continuous improvement in claims management.
- Identifying, escalating, and managing high-risk and business-sensitive claims in accordance with the relevant state process
- Conducting timely and appropriate case reviews with stakeholders to ensure individual case strategies are developed, communicated, and achieved
- Have strong existing experience in managing claims within worker’s compensation.
- A commercially minded yet empathetic, professional with a sound understanding of strategic case management
- Confidence and influencing skills and comfortable making decisions and problem-solving
- Collaborative stakeholder management skills and enjoy regular interactions both internally and externally.
