Job Description
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your role will be to look after a portfolio of high value contracts. This will include;

• Manage a source to contract process for the suite of goods and service agreements such as maintenance, civil and construction among others
• Identify and implement category management plans to effectively deliver value through sourcing and contract management
• Manage the tender process including evaluation, recommendation and award
• Identify opportunities to deliver cost savings initiatives and contracts & procurement best practice
• Guide the business units through the development of procurement & contract strategy including risk management, negotiation, evaluation, award, contract drafts and supplier management

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment across multiple packages with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to an environment of change

• You will be experienced in end to end contracting and procurement, particularly within major projects or category management
• Knowledge and experience developing and managing procurement and contract strategies
• You will have a strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at different levels
• Candidates with a management consultancy background will be looked upon favourably
• You will have a strong attention to detail while being able to work through ambiguity and often without structure
• Candidates who are self-driven and can take initiative to deliver innovative approaches to your own portfolio as well as the wider team will succeed in this role
