Role Overview

As a Senior Cisco Network/DC Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining both internal and external networks that support critical business applications. Your expertise will drive excellence, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with business requirements. Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation:

• Lead the design and implementation of Cisco networking solutions.
• Configure and optimize Cisco equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure.

Troubleshooting and Documentation:

• Swiftly troubleshoot network issues and document solutions.
• Create detailed reports and diagrams to document network operations.

Collaboration and Upgrades:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan network upgrades and enhancements.
• Ensure all new products are installed correctly, configured accurately, and thoroughly tested before production deployment.

Security Measures and Training:

• Make informed decisions regarding network security measures, data protection, and encryption.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on our networking infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cisco Network Engineer, with expertise in IP routing, switching, and wireless access points.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco APIC-CLUSTER-M4, APIC-CLUSTER-L4, Catalyst C8300, C9400, Nexus 9300 series switch, and Nexus 9K ACI & NX-OS Leaf/Spine.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
• Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
