The Opportunity:
Working in a highly skilled team of DevSecOps professionals, this role will focus on the design, build and implementation of Cyber Security Guardrails to ensure that any Cyber Security threats to the organisations Network Infrastructure is detected easily & effectively. This is a highly exciting role to work with some of-the-best in the business, within an enterprise-scale environment. This initial contract will be for 6 months with further extensions likely and can be performed working remotely from home 3-4 days per week, with 1-2 days per week required in the client's Sydney Inner West based offices.
Required skills and experience:
- 7+ years Network Engineer experience in total (F5, Firewalls, Juniper, Load Balancers etc.)
- 5+ years CISCO Networking experience
- 3+ years Guardrails experience (designing, developing, implementing)
- 2+ years’ experience of the following: CIS, Public Cloud (AWS & Azure), Software-Defined networking, Next-gen firewall policies
- Excellent communication & client stakeholder experience
- Certified in CISCO (CCIE, CCNP, CCNA,CyberOps Associate etc.)
- Previous Banking, Government or Telco experience
