Senior Civil Design Engineer/Team Leader position based in Perth

Your new role
- Are you a Senior Civil engineer looking for your next challenge? This role gives you the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.
- Employing 12D or Civil 3D and AutoCAD for technical design and documentation.
- Collaborate on designs with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Assuming responsibility for project designs based on experience and complexity.
- Engage in client and consultant meetings.
- Support the Group Leader in monitoring and reporting the group's performance.
- Collaborating with Team Leaders in other regions and business centres for enhanced collaboration and work sharing.
- Ensure effective planning, programming, and management of allocated projects and proposals to surpass client expectations.
- Coordinate resource and technical development requirements with Practice Leaders, Technical Discipline Leaders, and other Team Leaders.
- Enhance the team's skills through training, development, mentoring, and guidance.
- Adhering to professional standards, ethics, and quality procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering
- At least 7 years experience in the industry
- Possess a strong technical design background in civil design
- Proficiency with platforms like 12D, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
- Stormwater management experience
- Understanding of Authority application processes
- Growing proficiency in team management
- A desire to broaden skills in project delivery, technical business development, and people management.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and clients, both internal and external.
- Embrace a positive can-do attitude, work effectively within the team and uphold a robust work ethic.
