YOUR NEW EMPLOYER: Our client is an Engineering Consultancy, which provide comprehensive engineering and design services across Structural and Civil. They work with a loyal portfolio of clients and provide simple and outcome driven solution. They are looking to grow the business further and in particular looking to further expand their Civil division.
YOUR NEXT ROLE:
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake technical and administrative support to perform engineering calculation, reports, tendering, and construction documentation in according with codes and legislative requirements,
- Business planning,
- Mentor junior colleagues,
- Autonomously manage projects when required,
- Ad hoc reporting,
- Business development, networking and propositioning clients to promote the form and its services
- Prepare project reporting ensuring timelines and budgets originally agreed are adhered to,
- Coordinate with sub consultants and stakeholders and clients,
- Take a lead role in the design of projects relating to your discipline and across your client base,
- Do site visits, measurements and calculations,
- Assist and oversee the preparation and documentation of works using standard drafting processes and practices, designs using industry software,
ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT
You will be a tertiary qualified Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering at a senior level. You will have significant experience working within an Engineering Consultancy environment within Australia. You will have proven industry design experience including identifying project risks, problem solving, communicating effectively and designing solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the preparation of technical reports. You will have a great attention to detail and ability to show leadership and take responsibility for projects from inception to completion ensuring a smooth workflow process.
