The Tara Agency are currently taking applications from experienced SeniorProject Engineers (Civils) for a full time ongoing position in Adelaide, South Australia.

About the Role:
- Tendering on FRP packages across Rail, Bridges, Tunnels and Ports
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines. Assist in project planning and scheduling
- Site Inspection: Regularly visit the construction site to inspect ongoing work and ensure that it complies with the approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Quality Control: Monitor and manage construction quality, materials, and workmanship to ensure that the project meets the specified standards and codes
- Supervision: Oversee construction teams, subcontractors, and labourers. Coordinate and manage their work to ensure tasks are completed as per the project schedule
- Safety Compliance: Assist with and enforce HSEQ protocols and regulations on the construction site to protect workers, equipment, and the environment
- Cost Management: Monitor project costs and expenses, helping to ensure that the project stays within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities when possible
- Material Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers to order and track the delivery of construction materials, ensuring they are on-site when needed
- Progress Reporting: Maintain detailed records of work progress, construction activities, and any issues encountered
- Client Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, permits, contracts, and change orders
About You:
- Completed a Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
- 2-3 years experience working on FRP packages across Rail, Bridges, Tunnels and Ports is ESSENTIAL
- Ability to lead and guide a team of Engineers
- Highly effective written and verbal communication
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to organise, prioritise workloads and demonstrate effective time management.
