Senior Civil Water Engineer

You’ll be a key member of our Water team who have secured projects that will change the way SA operates forever. We are providing a more efficient and integrated water system to cater to the growth of SA and maintain and enhance outstanding environmental outcomes. Our Water team offers services across the full water cycle, delivering major pipelines, large pumping stations, advanced water, wastewater and recycling treatment.  Â

Â

We address critical water cycle challenges and provide solutions through adopting flexible program delivery models and ongoing asset management programs. KBR have significant work in hand supporting key water utilities such as Sydney Water, Water NSW, Sydney Desalination Plant, SA Water, Urban Utilities and Melbourne Water to achieve phased savings in capital expenditure, while delivering the best environmental and community outcomes.Â

You will play a vital role in the water team and strongly contribute to projects, people leadership, technical direction, client relationships and commercial direction. Our team is also exploring new ways to integrate virtual reality and artificial intelligence on projects, offering you the opportunity to future proof and broaden your skills in the digital sphere. Â

Who are you?Â

You are a delivery focused SeniorCivil Water Engineerlooking to take the next step and join our high performing Water team. You will be motivated by achievement, outcome-focused.  You will have previous experience in a similar role in the water sector and have a strong understanding of the local industry.  Â

You possess a pragmatic approach to the development of constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.Â

• You are a Chartered Engineer(CPEng) or in the process and have RPEV accreditation or have eligibility to apply for this accreditation. Â

• You have demonstrated experience in the water infrastructure sector in a consulting environment. Â

• Proven ability to work in, engineering, and design modelling teams, work directly with Water Authority clients, and coach and mentor junior staff.
