Due to growth we are seeking motivated Civil Engineer professionals to join our high performing Water Division and assist on our Water Infrastructure projects based in our Brisbane or Gold Coast offices. Our projects span the lifecycle of project delivery from feasibility studies through to detailed design packages for construction. About the role:
We have a healthy workload focused on water supply and sewerage schemes with key water authorities in South-East Queensland and as such, we are seeking determined professionals to join our thriving team. You will join a dynamic and skilled team that works on Water Infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across the APAC region.
As a Civil Engineer, you will provide professional engineering skills in the areas of water and wasteWater Infrastructure along with the following:
- Perform Civil Engineering tasks as assigned by the lead engineer which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support our Water Infrastructure projects.
- Assist with developing and managing the project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedule.
- Work collaboratively with our local clients and colleagues across SEQ, Australia and the wider Asia pacific business.
- Partner with a diverse client base from local government, industry and private development.
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartership/ RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded.
- Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry.
- Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants for regional and urban water authorities (highly desirable but not essential).
- Expertise with dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
