About Maranoa Centre
Maranoa Centre has a lush rainforest patch on-site with over 30 species of established rainforest trees, including a Moreton Bay Fig tree where many people love to rest and read.
Maranoa Centre aged care home provides 90 beds for residents across all levels of care, including dementia care and respite care services. All rooms include either a private courtyard, balcony, en-suite bathroom, and other added extras to ensure you live in premium comfort. Our Key to Me program makes time for meaningful conversations between our staff and residents – so we can really discover the stories that have made you who you are today.
About the role
BaptistCare Maranoa Centre is seeking a Laundry and Cleaning Attendant on a permanent part time basis of 63 hours per fortnight. In collaboration with the Residential Manager and Care Team Managers, you will lead and direct the Cleaning and Laundry team at the Maranoa site
This role will have team lead responsibilities and one dedicated office day a week.
Rate on offer is $27.07/hr + Super + Salary Packaging Benefits!
Duties may include:
- Team lead duties
- Laundry and cleaning duties as required for the facility
- Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
About you
The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.
Previous experience in a team leader role is essential with a background in aged care.
