Salveo Healthcare achieves this through the delivery of preventative and educational models of care, that are based on best practice internationally and proven locally across Tasmania.

Our multi-disciplinary nursing team deliver the Advanced Preventative Care Program (APC) and Private Postnatal Service across Tasmania. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking to bring an experienced Senior Clinical Lead to lead our team.

Why we need you

Salveo Healthcare is going through an exciting growth period. As our Senior Clinical Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting the clinical team as we navigate these changes with a focus on optimising client outcomes, operational efficiencies and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Manager Community Health Services (MCHS), the Senior Clinical Lead (SCL) collaborates with Senior Management and administration to support the Community Health Services Team. This role ensures the provision of reliable, high quality, in-home nursing care that prioritises a person-centred approach for Salveo Healthcare clients, families and health care providers.

The Role

The role encompasses leadership across Community Health Services Team, including developing and implementing a clinical supervision model, and for overseeing clinical supervision. Responsibilities include managing a small caseload and providing internal and external clinical supervision for quality assurance, accreditation and other organisational initiatives, ensuring that they evolve to match clinical need while meeting best-practice clinical benchmarks.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will possess:

• Minimum 10 years’ industry experience in healthcare

• Extensive experience in managing and leading people in a healthcare team

• Demonstrated ability in maintaining high clinical standards aligned with compliance, governance and the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS)

• Proficient in the ability to use MS Office software suite

• Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

• Ability to think creatively, identify opportunities and demonstrate advance problem-solving skills to be solutions focused

• Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate multiple tasks to achieve strategic outcomes

Mandatory Requirements

• Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA)

• Satisfactory National Police Check

• Working with Vulnerable People Check

• Full Tasmanian Drivers Licence

• Willing to travel Intrastate as required
