Senior Cloud Engineer

Senior Cloud EngineerOur federal government client is seeking a talented and driven Senior Cloud Engineer for 3 days. You will manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.About the role:

• Highly Available Solutions: Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Process Improvement: Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and governance to identify and implement improvements.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop IaC using cloud-native tools for automated and consistent platform deployments.
• Data Protection Best Practices: Implement policy-driven data protection practices to safeguard cloud solutions from data loss.

About you:

• Azure Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including design, deployment, configuration, and optimisation.
• IaaS and PaaS: Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, and experience working within an Agile framework.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in IaC development using tools like Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible, and scripting skills in Perl, Python, and PowerShell.

Location and Contract TermThis role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, Offsite.
